If you are trading on the currency pairs on IQ Option which is forex, option, or digital option then the time which you will choose will play a huge role in your success. As there are four major forex markets i.e; Sydney, Tokyo, London, and New York so, depending upon the time zone some will open during the morning, afternoon, or evening.
So, if you want to make a profit from the right market conditions, it will be necessary to consider the timing of when a particular market is open. Consider an example, when markets are highly volatile and if you prefer that market to trade then there are specific trading windows in all currency markets that allow you to trade. On the other hand, if you prefer ranging markets where entering short positions is possible, you can easily predict the time windows when this happens.

Note that I’m using the 00GMT time zone (London time).
Times when currency markets are open in the 4 major markets
All the major markets are open for 9 hours. The main thing about this is that the London market overlaps with both the Asian (Tokyo) and American (New York) markets and when the New York market closes, Sydney markets open and this makes the currency market runs for 24 hours 5 days a week.
Asian session: From 9pm to 8am GMT. This includes the 2 hours where the Tokyo markets remain open after the Sydney markets close.
London session: From 7am to 4pm GMT.
New York session: From 12pm to 9pm GMT.
